Summary: All are equal in death. That's basically a short version of the creed that the Red Death and his buddies have. In their quest to give the Dark Ages that title, they've come across some really bad apples. The Red Death, presumably, as seen the worst of it.

History: To mortals, the Red Death was a deadly plague that causes mass bleeding. And they're right to be afraid. But Prince Prospero, a cruel Satanist, wants to get the lords' minds off of things, so it's a sick, vice-laden party for all! But there's an uninvited guest...a man in a red cloak. Uh oh.

Final Fate: The figure is eventually revealed to be the Red Death personified, wearing Prospero's face to signify the agonizing death of him and just about everyone at the decadent party (except for a few other souls, whom weren't nearly as deserving as the other guests). Shortly afterwards, he leaves with those like him to spread death with slightly less prejudice.

Powers/Abilities: The Red Death causes massive bleeding from all orifices, and is practically omnipotent.

Weakness: None.

Scariness Factor: 4-The Red Death may be a forgiving individual, but he has no true opinions on how you feel about dying. It's going to happen anyway, so you might as well accept it when it comes. Doesn't make it any less painful, though.

Trivia: -Rather poetically, both Prospero and the Red Death are played by Vincent Price, allowing for two very different kinds of villain from a guy quite good at both.

-This story is based off the Edgar Allen Poe story of the same name. In that, the Red Death had no form at all under the cloak.
